   Jerome 'Jerry' Grow, age 79 of Foley, died Tuesday, September 13, 2016 at the St. Cloud Hospital.  Memorial Services will be 10:00 AM Saturday, September 17, 2016 at St. John's Catholic Church, Foley. The Rev. Michael Wolfbauer will officiate.  Burial will be in the Parish Cemetery.  Friends may call from 8:30 to 10:00 AM  Saturday at the church.   Service with Dignity provided by the Foley Funeral Home.
  Jerome Charles Grow was born July 10, 1937 in Princeton to Joseph and Florence (Erickson) Grow.  He graduated from Foley High School, where he excelled in sports, playing basketball, baseball, track, and was an all-state football player.  He was the first athlete inducted to the Foley Falcon Hall Of Fame.  On September 14, 1957 he married Mary Jane Kotsmith at St. John's Catholic Church.  Jerry owned and operated Grow's Feed Store for over 30 years.  He was active in the community as a past member of the Foley Fire Department, former St. John's Catholic Church trustee and Catholic School Board member, current member of St. John's Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus, Bishop Marty Council, 3603.  Over the years he enjoyed many fishing trips with friends, golfing and trap shooting.  After retirement, he and Mary Jane spent their winters in Mission Texas.  In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Foley Fire & Rescue.
  Jerry is survived by his wife, Mary Jane of Foley; children; Pamela (John) Wolter of St. Charles, Joseph (Karen) of Foley, Steven (Lynn) of Sartell, Deborah (Paul) Ruszat of St. Cloud, Richard of Phoenix, AZ and Catherine (Peter) Skwira of Gilman; 14 grandchildren;  Gregory, Christopher, James, Ryan, Erica, Brenda, Amy, David, Tonya Jane, Michelle, Samantha, Nicole, Abby and Pearce, 5 great-grandchildren, and sisters;  Charlene Balder of Cold Spring and Janiece Duffy of St. Paul, as well as other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, Willard and Norman.
