Dear Carol, Bob and Family,
Our deepest sympathies go out to you as we together with you mourn you dear father, father-in-law and grandfather. Pete was a wonderful man who loved his wife Elinor and all of you dearly. He was a very hard worker who enjoyed life's simple pleasures, especially out doors and working on the farm. May he be happily reunited with his beloved Elinor and rest in peace with Our Lord in Heaven.

Pete was a cheerful, happy man, very concerned about the safety and happiness of his granddaughter Hope, whom we know had a very special love for her Grampa! We will miss him but hope to see his shining face in heaven. Much love to you all in your loss of Grampa.

Thank you Naomi! I was just visiting my grandpa’s guest book! Yes, my grandpa was a very cheerful and happy man! He was very hard working and loved his apple orchard! My grandpa had a long and happy life! I remember having a lot of fun outings with my grandpa! I believe I was a blessing to my grandpa when I was born. He took care of me as an infant through my early preschool years, while my mom (Susan) worked. I think as a baby I brought joy to my grandpa’s heart, and my grandpa was happy to take care of me! I never met my grandma Elinor, but from what I hear- she was AMAZING! Now my grandpa and grandma are in heaven together smiling down at us, and praying for us!

Oh so sorry for you loss,I REMEMBER Pete well,such a gentle soul he was. I remember Elinor as well. Such hard working people.God bless them as they are now together with him.
