Marilyn Tadych

Marilyn Tadych, age 87 of Sartell and formerly of Foley passed away March 14, 2023 at Edgewood Assisted Living in Sartell. There will be a visitation from 4 to 6:00 PM, Monday, March 20, 2023 at the Foley Funeral Home.  Parish Prayers will be at 6:00 PM, Monday evening at the funeral home.  Rev. Matthew Langager will officiate and private burial will take place at SS. Peter & Paul Catholic Cemetery.  Service with Dignity provided by the Foley Funeral Home.

Marilyn Tadych was born May 31, 1935 in St. Cloud, Minnesota to Walter and Lucille (Heaton) Wendt.  She graduated from St. Cloud Technical High School.  She married Hilary Tadych on May 30, 1960 at the Church of the Holy Spirit in St. Cloud. In her younger years, Marilyn worked at a resort in Minnesota.  She enjoyed the outdoors, bird watching and spending time at the couples cabin.  She liked socializing and spoke fondly of her memories at the Jakeville Store where many good times were had with friends and family.  She was a member of SS. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Gilman.

She is survived by her family friend and good neighbor, Raymond (Connie) Goulet, Foley; long-time caregiver, Gretchen Selander of Foley and many other friends and relatives.  She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Hilary.
