William Edward Laxson Jr., age 67 of St. Cloud, Minnesota died at the St. Cloud Hospital, St. Cloud, Minnesota.

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, March 4, 2011 at the Foley Funeral Home Chapel, Foley, Minnesota. Burial will be in the Minnesota State Veteran's Cemetery, Little Falls, MN.

Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. Thursday, March 3 at the Foley Funeral Home. Arrangements were made by the Foley Funeral Home, Foley, MN.

William Laxson Jr. was born in 1943 in Athens, Alabama to William and Christine (Pressnell) Laxson. He married Deborah Day on February 26, 1976 in Ann Arbor, Michigan. He graduated from Trafford High School in Warrior, AL. He retired from Enterprise Minnesota. A Vietnam Veteran, William served in the Army form 1961 through 1972 and was an active member of the Gilman VFW, Post 1558. He was a member of the Foley American Legion, Post 298, the Disabled American Veterans and the Patriot Guard. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Gilman, MN VFW, Post 1558.
