Wilfred Miller, age 84, of Foley, MN, died Tuesday, December 13, 2011 at the Foley Nursing Center.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, December 17, 2011 at St. John's Catholic Church, Foley. The Rev. Daniel Walz will officiate. Entombment will be at the Assumption Cemetery, St. Cloud, MN.

Friends may call from 4 to 9 Friday and after 8:30 a.m. Saturday at the Foley Funeral Home. Parish prayers will be at 6 pm Friday evening at the funeral home. Arrangements were made by the Foley Funeral Home, Foley, MN.

Wilfred Miller was born June 14, 1927 in Mayhew Lake Township, Benton Co., MN to Leo and Theresa (Fleegel) Miller. He married Lucille Popp on September 11, 1950 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Rice, MN. Wilfred farmed and raised hogs and dairy cows in the Foley area for most of his life. After his retirement Wilfred enjoyed doing yard work, gardening flowers and planting many trees, especially evergreens. He was a member of St. John's Catholic Church and the Knight's of Columbus (Bishop Marty Council #3603).

He is survived by his wife, Lucille, Foley, MN; sons and daughters; Jim (Debbie), Foley, MN; Donnie (fiancé, Annette), Foley, MN; Jeff (Carol), Foley, MN; Dave (Jan), St. Cloud, MN; LuAnn (Mike) Jaeckels, Milaca, MN; Terry (Mary), Sauk Rapids, MN; Lisa (Mike) Brass, White Bear Township, MN; 21 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren, brothers and sisters, Lorraine Dumonceaux, Foley, MN; Theresa Carlson, Kimball, MN; Mary Svihel, Foley, MN; Eugene, Rural Retreat, VA; Louise Sutton, Litchfield, Ill; Dorothy Gammon, Georgtown KY; Rose Lane, Coon Rapids, MN; Joe, Peyton, CO; Joann Weise, Portland, OR; Bernice Schult, So. St. Paul, MN; and daughter-in-law, Carol Miller, Foley, MN.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers and sister, Arnold, Elmer, Leo Jr. and Caroline Stachowski and a grandson, Robert Miller.
