Walter Pollard, age 74 of Duelm, MN died Tuesday August 3, 2010 at his home.

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, August 10, 2010 at the Foley Funeral Home Chapel, Foley, MN. The Rev. Robert Kieffer will officiate. Burial with full Military Honors will be at St. Lawrence Catholic Cemetery, Duelm.

Friends may call from 1 hour prior to the service at the at the Foley Funeral Home. Arrangements were made by the Foley Funeral Home, Foley, MN.

Walter Pollard was born May 22, 1936 in St. Cloud, MN to George and Theresa (Meyer) Pollard. He married Carole Legatt 1958 at St. Stephen Catholic Church, St. Stephen, MN. Walter had lived and farmed in St. George Township, Benton County, MN all his life. He loved to fish and was a member of the Foley American Legion, Post 298.

He is survived by his sons and daughter; Brian (Denise), St. Cloud, MN; Jeff, Clear Lake, MN; Lori (Philip) Holmes, Owatonna, MN; Todd (Becky), Oak Park, MN; Shawn (Laura), Foley, MN; 15 grandchildren, brother, Raymond, St. Cloud and sister, Irene Zormeier, Sauk Rapids, MN.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers and sisters and grandson, BJ Pollard.
