Victor 'Jerry' Wachlin, age 66, of Foley, MN, died Saturday May 21, 2011 at the St. Cloud Hospital, St. Cloud, MN.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 25, 2011 at the Foley Funeral Chapel, Foley, MN. The Rev. Tim Wittwer will officiate.

Friends may call from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at the Foley Funeral Home in Foley. Arrangements were made by the Foley Funeral Home, Foley, MN.

Victor Wachlin was born July 10, 1944 in Hewitt, Minnesota to Victor Albert and Mary Pearl (Hanes) Wachlin. He was a US Navy Veteran during the Vietnam War. He married Shirley Chupp May 17, 1968 at Loveland, Indiana. He was an all around tradesman, including working as a mechanic, carpenter and painter. He enjoyed hunting and camping.

He is survived by his wife, Shirley, Foley, MN; sons and daughters, Timothy James (Cheryl), Coon Rapids, MN; Victor Jr. (Nancy), Hewitt, MN; Marie Shirley (Stephen) Blunt, Altuna, Iowa; Robert John (Patricia), Fayetteville, NC; Joseph (Jessica), Foley, MN; Matthew, Iowa; and Carrie Spears (Dale Sennie), Foley, MN; 26 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; and sister, Myrtle Lombard, Foreston, MN.
