Victor C. Meyers, age 89, of Foley, MN, died Wednesday, April 4, 2012 at the St. Cloud Hospital, St. Cloud, MN.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 10, 2012 at St. John's Catholic Church, Foley, MN. The Rev. Daniel Walz will officiate. Burial will be in the Parish Cemetery.

Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the church. Arrangements were made by the Foley Funeral Home, Foley, MN.

Victor C. Meyers was born September 25, 1922 in Morrill Township, Morrison Co., MN to John H. and Frances (Bolder) Meyers. He married Pauline Jezierski on June 19, 1945 at St. John's Catholic Church. He lived and worked all his life in the Foley area. He worked as a truck driver for Bemis Trucking and the Benton County Highway Department for many years. Vic had a musical gift and played the guitar, harmonica and drums by ear most all of his life. He started and played in the band, 'Harmony Pals' and played in many area bars and for weddings and family events. He enjoyed deer hunting and spending time with his family. Vic enjoyed being with people and loved to visit and he will be missed by many. He was a member of St. John's Catholic Church and past member of the Musicians Union and the 49er's Union.

He is survived by his wife, Pauline, Foley, MN; sons and daughters; Dennis (Darlene), St. Cloud, MN; Mary Lou Meyers (Jim), St. Cloud, MN; Curtis (Dianne); Foley, MN; Janice (John) Schyma, Foley, MN, 5 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and 2 infant sons.
