Thomas S. Cielinski, age 90, of Morrill, MN died Tuesday December 21, 2010 at St. Gabriel's Hospital, Little Falls, MN.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, December 24, 2010 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Morrill, MN. The Rev. Dan Walz will officiate. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Foley Funeral Home in Foley, MN and 1 hour before services at church. Arrangements were made by the Foley Funeral Home, Foley, MN.
Thomas Cielinski was born December 9, 1920 in Alberta Twp., Benton County, Minnesota to Joseph and Veronica (Broda) Cielinski. He married Marie Kampa November 26, 1946 at St. Elizabeth's Catholic Church in Brennyville, MN. He had farmed near Morrill and had worked at Fischer's and Foley Produce in Foley for many years. He had also worked at Grubers in Genola, MN and drove milk truck for Stearns Dairy. He loved fishing and hunting, especially deer hunting. He had a deep love for his grandchildren. He was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Morrill and a member of the Gilman Knights of Columbus, Immaculate Conception Council #9261.
He is survived by his wife, Marie, Morrill, MN; sons and daughters, Dan, Brooklyn Park, MN; Kay (Jim) Benusa, Royalton, MN; Bonnie (John) Brown, Hillman, MN; Dewey (Sally), Hillman, MN; Joe (Pam), St. Francis, MN; John (Judy), Pierz, MN; Chuck (Kristi) Gilman, MN; 19 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and sisters, Rita Carter, MN, Foley; Teresa Dimon, Minneapolis, MN; and Mary Ann (Howard) Mills, Pueblo, CO.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Catherine Watson.
