Theresa Schaaf, age 85 of Foley, died Monday, April 15, 2013 at the St. Cloud Hospital.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, April 18, 2013 at St. Lawrence Catholic Church, Duelm. The Rev. Virgil Helmin will officiate. Burial will be in the Parish Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4 to 9 Wednesday at the Foley Funeral Home in Foley and after 10 a.m. Thursday at the church. Parish Prayers will be at 5 p.m. Wednesday evening. Arrangements were made  by the Foley Funeral Home.
Theresa Schaaf was born November 24, 1927 in Tracy, MN to Daniel and Anna (Stohr) Keleher.  She married Fabian Schaaf on September 29, 1952 in Tracy, MN.  Theresa was born on Thanksgiving Day, November 24, 1927 in Tracy MN to Daniel and Anna (Stohr) Keleher.  She and her sister Rosie were identical twins.  She grew up on a farm near Tracy. She lost her mother at the age of 13 and after that time kept house for her father.  When she was 19, she moved to Minneapolis where she worked for the Star and Tribune cafeteria for five years.  She met her future husband, Fabian, through a pen pal club sponsored by Extension Magazine.  The couple were married on September 29, 1952 in Tracy.  They lived and farmed near Foley.  Theresa was a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church.  She loved her family and was a wonderful mother.  She liked to play cards and listen to music. Memorial are preferred in-lieu of flowers to Catholic Relief Services.
She is survived by her husband,  Fabian, Foley, sons and daughters; Patrice Schaaf, Foley; Sharon Farrah (Bob Seger), St. Cloud; Ken Schaaf, Minneapolis; Linda (John) Krotzer, Milaca; Tim Schaaf, Foley; Margie Schaaf, Foley; 6 grandchildren; Kaelie Farrah (Brendan Gill), Nathan Farrah, Jeremy Krotzer (Katie Oelrich),  Joshua (Teri) Krotzer, Andrew Walcheski, Devrin Walcheski, tree great-grandchildren; Emilia, Caleb and Corbin, sister, Madalyn Lasnetske and a brother, Arthur Keleher.  She was preceded in death by her sisters, Lucy Keleher, Rosie Colette, Annie McCormick , Geneva Tuomi, Kathleen Keleher, Helen Sammons, Alice Keleher, Martha Keleher, Mary Keleher and brothers; Charles, Joseph, Clarence, Thomas, Daniel, James and Johnny.
