Sharon Gorecki, age 69, of Foley, died Thursday, September 22, 2016 at her home surrounded by her family and friends after a long battle with cancer.
Funeral Services will be 10:30 AM Saturday, October 1, 2016 at St. Elizabeth's Catholic Church, Brennyville. The Rev. Leo Moenkedick will officiate. Burial will be private. Friends may visit from 9:30 to 10:30 at the church on Saturday.
Sharon Gall Gorecki was born September 7, 1947 in Little Falls, MN to Edward and Irene (Vouk) Gall.  She married Terrance Gorecki on March 9, 1991.  Sharon worked in Public Health and Human Services for Anoka and Benton Counties for 28 years.  She retired in 2013 at the age of 66.  She loved the outdoors; walking, hunting and fishing, flowers and vacationing out west.  She especially enjoyed her pets and all of her flowers.  Most important to her was spending time with her husband and daughter and her family.  Memorials are preferred in lieu of flowers.
She is survived by her husband, Terrance, Foley, daughter; Lesley (Duane) Stobbe and granddaughter, Shelby of Minnetonka; brothers, Robert (Joni), Morrill; Wayne (Karen), Morrill and many nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents and sons, John and Brian, a sister, Shirley Chouinard.
