Marcella 'Sally' C. Zimmer, age 95, of Foley, died Wednesday June 22, 2011 at the Foley Nursing Center, Foley.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, June 28, 2011 at SS. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, Gilman, MN. The Rev. Dan Walz will officiate. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at the Foley Funeral Home in Foley and 1 hour before services at church. Parish prayers will be 7:30 p.m. Monday. Christian Mothers will pray at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the church. Arrangements were made by the Foley Funeral Home, foley, MN.

Marcella Zimmer was born August 16, 1915 in Mayhew Lake Township, Benton Co., MN to Gerhard and Margaret (Walz) Bemboom. She married Ben Zimmer September 6, 1937 at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Olympia, WA. She was a homemaker and lived in the Gilman, MN area all her married life. She was a member of SS. Peter & Paul Catholic Church where she was a member of the Christian Mother's Rosary Society and also a member ot the Gilman Senior Citizens. She enjoyed playing cards, flower gardening and quilting.

She is survived by her sons and daughters, Jerry (Joyce), St. Cloud, MN; Pat (Pete) Tracy, Mora, MN; Jim (Arlene Foss), Rice, MN; Kathy (Ron) Robak, Oak Park, MN; Rich (Linda), Foley, MN; daughter-in-law, Julie Zimmer, Foley, MN; 18 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren; brothers, Ray Bemboom, Mayhew Lake, MN; and Tom Bemboom, St. Cloud, MN.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ben, October 11, 1995, infant son, John, son, Don, May 25, 2007, brothers, Lawrence, Mark and Joe Bemboom; sisters, Roselyn Evans, Marian Zimmer and Margie Rajkowski.
