Ruby Fadde, age 88, of Foley, died Wednesday March 11, 2015 at the St. Cloud Hospital.
Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Tuesday, March 17, 2015 at Estes Brook Evangelical Free Church, Oak Park. The Rev. Wesley Macy & Dr. Angus McDonald will officiate.  Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Friends may call from 9 to 11 Tuesday at the church.  Service with Dignity provided by the Foley Funeral Home.
Ruby Fadde was born August 24, 1926 in Anaconda, Montana to Joe and Pearl (Piok) Bublich.  She married J. Edward Fadde Jr. on September 9, 1954 in Billings, Montana.  Ruby graduated from Chadsey High School in Detroit, MI and attended college at Wayne State in Detroit and later graduated from the University of Montana with a B. A. in English.  She went on to teach high school English for over 25 years.  She lived in Montana, Michigan, Illinois, New Jersey, Wyoming, Indiana and Minnesota and also the U.S. Virgin Islands.  She belonged to several book clubs and authored a 266 page historical novel.  Ruby held the most important event in her life to be June of 1976 when she was born again into sharing faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.  She looked forward to going to Heaven for all eternity. She was a member of Estes Brook Evangelical Free Church.
She is survived by her sons; Peter (Patricia) Fadde, West Lafayette, IN; Edward (Sharin) Fadde, Austin, TX; son-in-law, Paul Shrake, Oak Park; brother, Joe Mitchell, Olympia, WA; sister, Marjorie (John) Milligan, Olympia, WA; grandchildren Jae (Lindsey) Fadde, Elizabeth (Patrick) Monaghan, Alexander and Eleena Shrake great granddaughters, Reagan Fadde and Ava-Marie Rose Wilson.  She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, J. Edward, Fadde Jr., 1988, daughter, Susan Shrake, April 25, 2004; grandson, Noah Shrake and sisters, Angelyn Mitchell and Mildred Williams and brother, Michael Mitchell.
