Ronald Broda, age 64, of Foley, MN, died Wednesday September 15, 2010 at The Department of Veterans Affairs Hospital, St. Cloud, MN.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, September 21, 2010 at St. John's Catholic Church, Foley, MN. The Rev. Robert Kieffer will officiate. Burial will be in the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery, Little Falls, MN. Military Honors will be provided by the Foley American Legion, Post 298.

Friends may call from 4 to 9 Monday at the Foley Funeral Home in Foley, MN and after 9:00 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. A Rosary will be prayed at 5:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Arrangements were made by the Foley Funeral Home, Foley, MN.

Ronald Broda was born February 7, 1946 in St. Cloud, MN to Norbert and Lorraine (Bozych) Broda. He married Anna May Malikowski on September 29, 1973 at St. John's Catholic Church, Foley, MN. He graduated from Foley High School in 1965 and served two years in the US Air Force. Ronald owned and operated Broda Mobile/Milling for many years. He also worked as an over-the-road trucker for many years. Ronald was a member of the Foley American Legion, Post 298 and the VFW. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.

He is survived by his wife, Anna May, Foley, MN; daughters and son; Candis (Marvin) Ross, Monticello, MN; John (Stacy Child), Cheyenne, WY; Kathleen (Shawn) Dobos, Foley, MN, grandchildren; Kyle & Brandon Ross; Gage & Gavin Broda and Rebecca, Kristina & Joshua Broda; brothers and sisters; Bonnie (John) Nathe, Columbia Heights, MN; John, Foley, MN; Juliena DuMonceaux, Foley, MN and Randy (Sue), St. Joseph, MN.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Norbert and Lorraine and infant sister, Mary.
