Roman Goltz was born August 23, 1927 in Morrill Township, Morrison Co., to Bernard and Julia (Florek) Goltz.  Roman grew up and lived in Morrill before moving to rural Hillman in 1941.  He farmed his entire life with his brother, Joseph.  The brothers farmed with horses and raised horses all of their lives.     He was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church.
He is survived by his many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters; Anna Sabraski, Rosella Eli, Clara Drabant, Delores Goltz and brother, Joseph.
