Robert McLaughlin, age 62, of Foley, died Tuesday, April 5, 2011 at his home.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, April 9, 2011 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Morrill, MN. The Rev. Dan Walz will officiate. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.

Friends may call from 4 to 9 Friday at the Foley Funeral Home in Foley, MN and one hour prior to the service at the church. Arrangements were made by the Foley Funeral Home, Foley, MN.

Robert McLaughlin was born January 3, 1949 in Fairmont, MN to Harold 'Mac' and Lina (Murray) McLaughlin. Robert graduated from Foley High School in 1968 and then attended Anoka Technical College completing an electronics degree.He married Marjorie Lehmeir on June 26, 1976 at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, St. Cloud, MN. The couple lived and farmed in Alberta Township, Benton County, MN.  He worked at St. Cloud Window and Frigidaire Company. Robert also ran a TV repair business out of his home for many years. Most recently he was employed at Dombrovski Meats in Foley. He enjoyed doing field work and spending time with his family. He was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church.

He is survived by his wife, Marjorie, Foley, MN; sons and daughters; Mike (Kristin Smelter), Foley, MN; Judy McLaughlin (Jerrod Rudnitski), Foley, MN; Jennifer McLaughlin (Todd Bristow), Sauk Rapids, MN; Shawn (Jen Krupke), Rice, MN; Christopher, Foley, MN; granddaughters, Kristina and Aaliyah and sister, Sue Marchel, Fountain Hill, AZ.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
