Rita Linn, age 71, of Foley, died Thursday August 5, 2010 at the Foley Nursing Center, Foley.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, August 9, 2010 at St. John's Catholic Church, Foley, Minnesota. The Rev. Robert Kieffer will officiate. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.

Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the Foley Funeral Home in Foley and after 9:30 a.m. Monday at the funeral home. Parish prayers will be 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Arrangements were made by the Foley Funeral Home, Foley, Minnesota.

Rita Linn was born October 8, 1938 in St. Joseph, Minnesota to Albert and Mary (Maselter) Valerius. She married Tony Linn July 20, 1957 at St. Mary's Cathedral in St. Cloud, Minnesota. She had lived in Foley most of her life and worked as a bookkeeper for Coborns in Foley for 23 years before retiring in 2003. She enjoyed farming and bird watching. Rita was a devoted mother, wife and grandmother. She was a member of St. John's Catholic Church, Foley.

She is survived by her husband, Tony, Foley, MN; sons, Bruce (Mary), Foley, MN; Jim, Sartell, MN; Mike (Kelly) Sauk Rapids, MN; 13 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Memorials preferred in lieu of flowers.
