Regina Tadych, age 98, of Good Shepherd Lutheran Home, Sauk Rapids, MN, died Thursday August 23, 2012.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, August 27, 2012 at SS. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, Gilman, MN. The Rev. Daniel Walz will officiate. Burial will be in the Parish Cemetery.

Friends may call from 4 to 9 Sunday at the Foley Funeral Home in Foley and one hour prior to the service at the church. SS. Peter & Paul Christian Mother's Rosary will be at 6 pm Sunday evening at the funeral home. Arrangements were made by the Foley Funeral Home, Foley, MN.

Regina Tadych was born July 3, 1914 in Alberta Township, Benton Co., MN to Leo and Pelagia (Urbanski) Chmielewski. She married Benedict Tadych on June 21, 1937 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, rural Sauk Rapids, MN. The couple lived and farmed most of their lives in Alberta Township. Regina enjoyed sewing and gardening and canning. She liked to bake and was known for her wonderful baked-goods and pastries. She especially like traveling with her family. She was a member of SS. Peter & Paul Catholic Church and the Gilman Christian Mother's.

She is survived by her daughters; Mary Jane (Marcel) Bursch, Foley, MN; Diane (Jim) Pattock, Foley, MN; Debbie (Danny) Thorsten, Foley, MN; grandchildren, Dean and Kurt Bursch; Jill and Brian Pattock and Chad Thorsten and Carrie Virnig; great grandchildren, Emily and Grace Bursch; Connor Pattock; Emma, Logan, Liz Thorsten and Benjamin, Nicholas and Jackson Virnig.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Benedict, brothers and sisters, Steve Chmielewski, Felix Chmielewski, Clara Krawiecki, Irene Deppa and Dorothy Lentner.
