Ray Blank, age 90, of Foley, joined his Lord and Savior on Thursday, May 29, 2014 at the Foley Nursing Center as a result of complications of a stroke suffered on Memorial Day.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, June 2, 2014 at St. John's Catholic Church, Foley. The Rev. Daniel Walz will officiate.  Burial will be in the Parish Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 Sunday at the Foley Funeral Home in Foley and one hour prior to the service at the church on Monday.  Parish Prayers will be at 5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.  The Fr. Pierz Assembly of the 4the Degree Knights of Columbus will stand honor guard from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday evening at the funeral home. Arrangements were made by the Foley Funeral Home.
Raymond Blank was born August 28, 1923 in Granite Ledge Township, Benton Co. to Joseph and Frances (Schaefer) Blank. He married Donna Kahut  on September 29, 1951 in River Falls, WI.  Ray farmed for many years and owned and operated Blank Implement until his retirement in 1985.  He was a faithful member of St. John's Catholic Church, Sacred Heart Catholic Church and St. Patrick's Catholic Church.  He was also a member of the Fr. Pierz  Assembly of the 4th Degree Knights of Columbus.  In his early days he enjoyed bowling and dancing and up to his death played a mean game of cards.  Memorials are preferred in lieu of flowers to the Christian Foundation for Children and Aging; Poor Clares Monastery or the Heritage Place of Foley.
He is survived by his sons and daughters; Danny (Joy), St. Cloud; Joe (Debbie), Foley; Greg (Kathy), Foley; Tom (Cindy), McGregor; LoriAnne (Steve), Kiffmeyer, Clear Lake, Lisa (Duane), Pike, Lakeville; 16 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.
