Pamela Katka, age 52 of Foley, died Thursday, March 21, 2013 at the St. Cloud Hospital after a short battle with cancer.
Memorial Mass will be 1:00 p.m. Monday, March 25, 2013 at SS. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, Gilman. The Rev. Leo Moenkedick will officiate. Burial will take place in the Parish Cemetery.
Friends may call from 10 to 12:45 at the church on Monday. Arrangements were made by the Foley Funeral Home.
Pamela Katka was born August 2, 1960 in St. Cloud, MN to Richard and Dorothy (Theis) Kosloski. She married Ralph Katka on June 30, 1979 at St. John's Catholic Church, Foley. She lived in the Foley area all of her life. She worked at Stearns Manufacturing for several years and co-owned and operated Katka's Monuments with her husband for many years. Pam enjoyed gardening, vintage snowmobile runs and spending time with her friends and family and grandchildren. She was an active member of SS. Peter & Paul Catholic Church. Memorials are preferred in-lieu of flowers.
She is survived by her husband, Ralph, Foley; sons; Rick (Alicia), Becker; Tim (Lacey), Foley; 4 grandchildren, Abigail, Benjamin, Mayla, Hadasah, mother, Dorothy Kosloski, St. Cloud, brothers and sister; Mike, Rice; Pat, St. Cloud; Jeff, St. Cloud, Vernon, Rice and Roxanne Kosloski, Foley. She was preceded in death by her father, Richard.
