Norbert R. Kieffer, age 74, of Pierz, MN died Sunday, January 13, 2013 at St. Gabriel's Hospital, Little Falls, MN.

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, January 17, 2013 at Foley Funeral Home Chapel, Foley. The Rev. Daniel Walz will officiate. Burial will be in the Lone Pine Cemetery, Morrill.

Friends may call from 5 to 9 p.m. at the Foley Funeral Home in Foley and 1 hour before services at the funeral home. Arrangements were made by the Foley Funeral Home, Foley, MN.

Norbert Kieffer was born February 19, 1938 in Bowlus, Minnesota to Roman and Irene (Bower) Kieffer. He married Glinda Davis on August 13, 1958 in Pearsall, TX. The couple moved to Morrill, MN after their marriage and later moved to their farm near Ramey. Norbert drove truck for Moren Trucking; Preimesberger Lumber and the Ramey Creamery. He also operated his own milk route and farmed for many years. He enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle, loved his family and especially liked to hunt, fish and tell stories. Norbert was a wonderful father, husband, brother and grandfather and will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his sons, Rich, Pierz, MN; Carly (Tammy), Hillman, MN; 2 grandchildren, Zachery (Kaylie) and Brock (Kendra); father, Roman Sr., Little Falls; brothers, Jim (Darlene), Foley, MN; Roman Jr., (Sandy), Morrill, MN; Robert (Sally), Hillman, MN; Patty (Arnie) Luberda, Foley, MN; Tom (Michelle), Morrill, MN; Bill, Foley, MN; Roger (Maxine), Rice, MN and Alan of Foley, MN.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Glinda, September 12, 2012, mother, Irene and brother Gene.
