Nora B. Meyer, age 81, of Foley, passed away peacefully Saturday February 23, 2013 at the Foley Nursing Center surrounded by her family.
Funeral services will be 12:00 Noon Tuesday, February 26, 2013 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Foley. The Rev. Tim Rehwaldt will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Friends may call from 10 to 12 Noon Tuesday at the church. Arrangements were made by the Foley Funeral Home.
Nora Meyer was born April 29, 1931 in Popple Creek, MN to Fred and Lila (Anderson) Mayavski. She married Paul Meyer October 20, 1951 in Foley. Nora was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Foley. She enjoyed collecting horse items and spending time playing cards with her family.
She is survived by her sons and daughter, Doug (Sharon), Foley; Vicki (Ken) Feuling, Foley; Randy (Carmen), Sauk Rapids; Dan (Brenda), Foley; 8 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren; brother, Al Mayavski; sisters, Pearl Jacobsen and Bernice Kranz.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul, brothers, Danny, Lester and infant, Earl Mayavski.
The family wishes to thank the Foley Nursing Center and St. Cloud Hospice for taking such good care of Mom.
