Myrtle M. Fleck, age 91, of Foley, MN, died Tuesday December 4, 2012 at the Foley Nursing Center, Foley.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, December 7, 2012 at St. John's Catholic Church, Foley. The Rev. Daniel Walz will officiate. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.

Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Foley Funeral Home in Foley and after 8:00 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. Christian Mothers will pray at 5 p.m. and Parish Prayers will be at 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Arrangements were made by the Foley Funeral Home, Foley, MN.

Myrtle Fleck was born May 27, 1921 in Granite Ledge Twp., Benton Co., MN to John and Mary (Kantor) Byzewski. She married Earl Fleck February 12, 1944 at St. Elizabeth's Catholic Church in Brennyville. She worked at the Horseman Cafe in Foley and the Foley Nursing Center for many years until her retirement. She then worked as a housekeeper at St. John's Catholic Church for many years. She enjoyed reading, family and grandchildren, and was an avid Nascar fan. She was a member of St. John's Catholic Church where she was a member of the Christian Mothers.

She is survived by her sons, Ronald (Nancy), Bloomington, MN; David (Linda), Sauk Rapids, MN; Darwin (Jean), Foley, MN; Duane, Sauk Rapids, MN; daughter-in-law, Rose Fleck, Milaca, MN; sister, Margaret Gotvald, Foley, MN; brother, Marcel, St. Anthony, MN; 13 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchilren and step grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl, August 17, 1967, son, Larry, August 6, 2011 and grandson, Justin Fleck, September 10, 1975.
