Muriel Miller, age 61, of Pierz, died Sunday, August 18, at her home after a short battle with lung cancer.
Memorial Services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 21, 2013 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Morrill. The Rev. Greg Leiser will officiate. Burial will be in the Parish Cemetery.
Friends may call from one hour prior to the service at the church on Wednesday.  Arrangements were made  by the Foley Funeral Home.
Muriel Miller was born December 31, 1951 in St. Cloud, to Michael and Theresa (Koppy) Scheibel.  She married Nick Miller on April 18, 1970 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church.  Muriel graduated from Foley High School and worked for Gorecki Manufacturing, Willmar Poultry and most recently the Foley Nursing Center.  She enjoyed gardening and canning and spending time with her grandchildren.  She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church.
She is survived by her husband, Nick, Pierz daughters; Gretchen (Al) Riedemann;Pierz;  Ellie (Travis) Holm, Royalton; 5 grandchildren and brothers and sisters; Linda (Ronnie) Johnson, Pierz; Jerri (Joe) Caple, Melrude; Joany (Morrie) Morse, Bloomington; Everett (Bernette) Hall, Clear Lake and John (Debbie) Brooklyn Center.   She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers and sister, Mike, Larry and Phyllis Sorem.
