Milo L. Johnson, age 63, of Foley, died Wednesday July 6, 2011 at St. Cloud Hospital, St. Cloud, MN, surrounded by family and friends.

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, July 9, 2011 at Gustavus Adolphus Lutheran Church, Foley, MN. The Rev. Tim Wittwer will officiate. Burial will be in the Lone Pine Cemetery, Morrill, MN.

Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. Friday at the Foley Funeral Home in Foley and 1 hour before services at church. Prayer services will be 6 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Arrangements were made by the Foley Funeral Home, Foley, MN.

Milo Johnson was born March 18, 1948 in St. Cloud, Minnesota to Arthur and Esther (Beack) Johnson. He married Linda Christensen May 22, 1971 at Bethany Lutheran Church in Ramey, MN. He had lived and farmed in Morrill Township, Morrison County, MN most of his life. Milo had worked for Jack Frost; dairy delivery for Ramey Creamery; Tri-City Paving; bulk truck driver for Al Schirmers; bulk truck driver for Little Rock Creamery; and over the road semi truck driver. His passion was farming. He liked to hunt, fish and build most anything. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Milo was meticulous about everything. He had many health issues over the last 26 years but always said "Someone always had it worse." He was a member of Gustavus Adolphus Lutheran Church.

He is survived by his wife, Linda, Foley, MN; daughter and son, Jodi (Jon) Henry, Foley, MN; Lee (Susie), Ramey, MN; 5 grandchildren, Brittney, Justin, Levi, Riley and Tori; sister, Marlene (Milton) Popp, Rice, MN; and many nieces, nephews and friends. He will be missed by many.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Esther.
