Mary Ann Watercott, age 76, of Little Falls and formerly of Foley, died Monday March 14, 2011 at the St. Cloud Hospital, St. Cloud, MN.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, March 17, 2011 at St. John's Catholic Church, Foley, MN. The Rev. Robert Kieffer will officiate. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Foley Funeral Home in Foley, MN and one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Thursday. Parish Prayers will be at 5:00 p.m. followed by Christian Mothers Rosary Wednesday at the funeral home. Arrangements were made by the Foley Funeral Home, Foley, MN.
Mary Ann Watercott was born May 11, 1934 in Morrill, MN to George and Anna (Jedlicki) Kasner. She married Basil Watercott on August 20, 1952 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Morrill. The couple lived on their farm in Benton County, MN until their retirement in 1990 when they built a home on Green Prairie Fish Lake in Morrison County, MN. They were members of St. James Catholic Church, Randall, MN. Mary Ann enjoyed being with her family and living at the lake where she loved hosting family and friends. Mary Ann also enjoyed flower gardening and researching family genealogies. She will be greatly missed. Memorials are preferred in-lieu-of flowers.
She is survived by her sons and daughters; Dan (Gail), St. Cloud, MN; Debbie (Brad) Carlson, Detroit Lakes, MN; Danita (Warren) Womack, San Diego, CA; Darrell (Michelle), St. Cloud, MN; Dwight (Rox), Maple Grove, MN; Doug (Christina), Becker, MN; Darla (Jerry) Studniski, Sauk Rapids, MN; Darin (Kelly), Ironton, MN, 22 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren; sisters, Dorothy Moulzolf, Coon Rapids, MN, Diane (Jerome) Gapinski, Gilman, MN, and Georgianne (Gary) Thorsten, Morrill, MN.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Basil, October 27, 2008; an infant daughter, Denise, 1955; and a great-granddaughter, Sierra Rae.
