Marie Gill was born November 30, 1941 in St. Cloud, Minnesota to Walter and Mary Magdaline (Struffert) Rau.  She married Norbert Gill on July 7, 1959 at St. Lawrence Catholic Church.  The couple had lived in the Duelm area most of their married life.  Marie worked as a secretary for various businesses and was a St. George Township board member for 25 years.  She enjoyed gardening and reading and especially liked spending time with her family and friends.  She was a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church.
She is survived by her sons and daughter; Michael (Shirely), Royalton; Daniel (Mary), Sauk Rapids; Donna (Rick) Gard, Baraboo, WI; 8 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren and brothers and sisters; Rudy Rau, Texas; Dolores (Dale) Wittowski, Sartell; Jerome (Diane) Rau, Sauk Rapids; Suellen Rau,  Oakdale; Darlene (Mike) Paggen, Rice; Thomas (Melanie) Rau, Foley and sister-in-law, Rita (Leon) Moeller of Foley and many nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Norbert; brother, John and daughter, Mickey Gill.
