Margaret (Margie) L. Lentner (Wolfe), a resident of Country Manor Assisted Living in Sartell, MN (previously of Foley, MN), passed away on Friday, November 30, 2012 at Country Manor Health and Rehab Center in Sartell from bladder cancer.
Mass of Chistian Burial for Margaret Lentner will be 12 Noon on Friday December 7 at SS. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Gilman, MN. Friends may call 1 hour before services at the church. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Arrangements were made by the Foley Funeral Home, Foley, MN.
Margaret was born July 16, 1924, Foley (North Benton), MN to Henry and Abigail (Riley) Wolf. She married Stanley Lentner on November 25, 1947 at Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church. They moved to Sauk Rapids, MN in 1950 and returned to the Gilman area in 1963. Margaret and Stanley moved to Country Manor Assisted Living in 1994. Margaret was a member of Christian Mothers at Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church. She enjoyed flowers, gardening, playing cards and had a love for animals. In past years she refurbished dolls for Alzheimer's patients. She also rediscovered her love for the old hymns. She will be dearly missed for her amazing sense of humor and joy she brought to the people she met.
Survived by her daughters, Gail Niedzielski (Roman Jr. /Zeke) of Maple Grove, MN; Julie Lentner Deglmann (Al) of Plymouth, MN; and Kathy Anderson (Mike) of Washington, UT; Son, Gary Lentner (Julie), Upland, CA; Grandchildren include, Erica Erickson (Jeremy), Jessica Niedzielski, Monica Malley (Ben), Jennifer Deglmann, Tom Deglmann, Adam, Joe, and Aaron Lentner (Becky), 4 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Stanley; brother, John; sisters, Pauline Herman and Mamie; and daughters, Joan and Mary.
The family would like to extend special thanks for the love and care of Margaret at Country Manor Assistive Living and Country Manor Health and Rehab Center. Memorials are preferred to be made to the family.
