Lucille Frank, 92, of Foley, died Friday, November 17, 2017 at the Foley Nursing Center.  Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 AM, Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at St. John's Catholic Church, Foley.  The Rev. Michael Wolfbauer will officiate.  Friends may call from 4-9 PM Monday at Foley Funeral Home with Parish Prayers at 6 PM.  Visitation will continue after 9:30 AM at the church Tuesday with a Christian Mothers Rosary prior to services at the church.   Interment will be in the Parish Cemetery.

Lucille Elizabeth (Struffert) Frank was born May 19, 1925 in St. George Township, Benton County, the daughter of Frank and Katherine (Stommes) Struffert.  She graduated from Foley High School in 1942.  On November 16, 1943 she was united in marriage with Albert Frank at St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Duelm.  The couple raised their family and farmed in the Foley area.  Lucille enjoyed gardening, cooking and canning.  She loved to read, do embroidery and art work.  Her grandchildren all received special quilts made by Lucille.  She was always active; enjoying traveling, dancing, and cross country skiing well into her 80's.  She will fondly be remembered for running barefoot in the first snow of the year.  Over the years, she generously volunteered at the Elementary School and Foley Nursing Home.  She was a member of St. John's Catholic Church, the Christian Mothers, and the Flower Club.

Lucille is survived by her children:  Dan (Karen) of Milaca, Katherine (Dan) Kavanagh of Sun City, AZ, Charlie (Joyce) of Foley, Russell of St. Cloud, Jerry (Betty) of Pine River, Harlen (Nancy) of Sauk Rapids, Michael (Tamra) of Foreston, Karen (Ray) Lund of St. Cloud; daughter-in-law, Arlene Frank of Foley; son-in-law, Lonnie Stauffenecker of Foley; sisters-in-law, Pat Struffert of Big Lake and Phyllis Mastey of Foley; 28 grandchildren; 64 great grandchildren; and 16 great-great grandchildren; as well as many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Albert; sons, Joe and John; daughter Anita Stauffenecker; daughter-in-law Geralyn Frank; granddaughter Lindsey Stauffenecker; brothers:  Cyril, Roman, Melvin, Vernon, Frank 'Jr'; and sister, Magdaline Rau.
