Lorraine C. Lewandowski, age 86, of St. Cloud and formerly of Foley, died Saturday July 2, 2011 at her residence.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, July 5, 2011 at St. John's Catholic Church, Foley. The Fr. Glen Lewandowski, Master General Crosier Fathers will officiate. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at the Foley Funeral Home in Foley, MN and after 9 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Arrangements were made by the Foley Funeral Home, Foley, MN.

Lorraine Lewandowski was born July 24, 1924 in Gilmanton Twp.,Benton Co.MN to Felix and Delia (Lesnau) Zaworski. She married Norbert Lewandowski January 29, 1946 at St. John's Catholic Church in Foley. Lorraine was a life long resident of Foley. She enjoyed camping with family and friends; traveling to many places, including, Florida, Wisconsin, California, Hawaii and France. Lorraine's warm heart showed through her bright smile and acts of kindness. She led Cub Scouts; participated in homemakers; and took in Bev Voigt as a teen, later becoming Bev's Godmother. Her hobbies included: crocheting afghans for each of her grandchildren as graduation gifts; playing bingo; and working on jigsaw puzzles. Although she had only lived at Benedict Village for two years, Lorraine enjoyed the company of her many new friends there. She was a member of St. John's Catholic Church, Foley.

She is survived by her sons and daughters, Clyde (Connie), St. Cloud, MN; Bob (Lucy), West Bend, WI; Ron (Barb), New Brighton, MN; Cherie (Tom) Kampa, Becker, MN; Sue (Steve) Zwinger, Poway, CA; brother, Tom (Claire) Zaworski, St. Cloud, MN; 9 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Norbert, brothers and sister, Morgan and Ted Zaworski and Elaine Hager.

The family will forward all memorials to the Friends of Vinh Son Orphanage in Kontum, Vietnam.
