Lisa Stachovich, age 52, of Foley, died Saturday May 7, 2011 in Minneapolis, MN.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, May 11, 2011 at SS. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, Gilman, MN. The Rev. Dan Walz will officiate. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.

Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Foley Funeral Home in Foley, MN and 1 hour before services at church. Christian Mothers will pray at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Arrangements were made by the Foley Funeral Home.

Lisa Stachovich was born December 24, 1958 in St. Cloud, Minnesota to Richard and Faith (Bass) Stachovich. She grew up in Foley and graduated from the Foley High School. She received a BS degree in biology from SCSU and also graduated from the St. Cloud Technical College with a degree in instrumentation. She had worked as a lab tech at Honeywell for 25 years. She loved sports, especially softball. Lisa was active in the Gilman Park Association and was a member of SS. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, Gilman, where she was a member of the Christian Mothers. She enjoyed spending time with her nieces and nephews. She loved the outdoors and working on her hobby farm in Foley.

She is survived by her mother, Faith; brothers and sisters, Richard (Kathy), Larry (Kyle), Debra (Jim) Schmitz, Kathy (Mike) Spiczka, Joan (Guy) Drees, Julie (Marty) Hanley, Kim (Bill) Moulzolf, Kerry Stachovich, and many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Richard.
