LeRoy McIver, 72, of Sauk Rapids, died Thursday, January 11, 2018 at the St. Cloud VA Medical Center.  Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 AM, Tuesday, January 16, 2018 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Sauk Rapids.  Visitation will be from 4-8 PM, Monday, January 15, 2018 at Foley Funeral Home and will continue one hour prior to services at the church on Tuesday.  Burial with full military honors by Foley American Legion Post #298 will be in the Parish cemetery.

LeRoy James McIver was born August 16, 1945 in St. Cloud, Minnesota the son of James and Regina (Fischer) McIver.  He proudly served his country in the United States Army from 1967-1969 during the Vietnam War.  On October 31, 1970, LeRoy was united in marriage with Christine 'Tina' Kuffel at SS. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Gilman.  The couple lived in Minden Township where they farmed hogs for over 47 years.  For 20 years, LeRoy also worked for DHM Construction.  Spending time on the farm and deer hunting were things LeRoy enjoyed, but his greatest love was his family.  He was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church and Foley American Legion Post 298.  He will be greatly missed.

LeRoy is survived by his wife, Tina of Sauk Rapids; children:  Mike (Pam) of Foley, Brian (Tammy) of Foley, Virginia (Jamie) Jensen of Pipestone, and Marilyn (Jeff) Swann of Rice; 10 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; sisters:  Mary Neuman of Clear Lake, Jeanette Haus of St. Cloud, Joyce McIver of St. Cloud; and brother, Dale McIver of Sauk Rapids; as well as other relatives and friends.  He was preceded in death by his parents.
