Justin J. Jurek, age 85, of Foley, died peacefully on Friday, February 6, 2015 at the family farm. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 AM Tuesday, February 10, 2015 at St. Elizabeth's Catholic Church, Brennyville. The Rev. Leo Moenkedick will officiate.  Burial will be in the Parish Cemetery with Military Honors provided by the Hillman American Legion, Post 602.  Friends may call from 4 to 8 Monday at the Foley Funeral Home in Foley and one hour prior to the service at church.

Justin J. Jurek was born January 24, 1930 in Lakin Township, Morrison Co. to John and Mary (Tadych) Jurek.  He married  Cordelia 'Corry' Rhoda on July 4, 1956 at St. Elizabeth's Catholic Church in Brennyville.  Justin lived and farmed his entire life in Lakin Township, Morrison Co., where he raised his three daughters.  He was a US Army Veteran and was a member of the Hillman American Legion, Post 602.  He was a member of St. Elizabeth's Catholic Church.

He is survived by his wife, Corry, Foley; daughters; Colette Jurek; Noreen 'Renie' (Randy) Hamers, Foley; Janelle 'Nell' Jurek, Edina, 2 grandsons, Ryan (Jennifer) Hamers and Ross (Katie) Hamers of International Falls, great grandsons; Reed, Reyden, Rhett and Rolan Hamers, all of Zimmerman and Bennett Hamers of  International Falls, brothers and sisters; Jake, Foreston, John (Judy), Foreston, Martha (Ronald) Engesether, OR; Janet Pappenfus, Waite Park; Mary Ann (Rodney) Wahlberg, Coon Rapids and Theresa Spiczka, Gilman.  He was preceded in death by his parents and sisters and brother; Delores Kelash, Margaret Dahler, Kathryn Lentner, Roy Jurek and infant brother and sister, Benjamin and Bernice.  Donations to the charity of choice is preferred.
