Joseph Frank, age 68, of Oak Park, died Thursday, May 30, 2013 at his home.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 5, 2013 at St. John's Catholic Church, Foley. The Rev. Daniel Walz will officiate. Burial will be in the Parish Cemetery with Military Honors provided by the Foley American Legion, Post 298.
Friends may call from 4 to 9 Tuesday at the Foley Funeral Home in Foley after 9:00 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Parish Prayers will be at 7 pm Tuesday evening. Arrangements were made by the Foley Funeral Home.
Joseph Frank was born October 3, 1944 in St. Cloud, MN to Albert and Lucille (Struffert) Frank. He married Arlene David on November 5, 1966. The couple lived in rural Benton County most of their lives. Joe graduated from Foley High School in 1963 and enlisted and served three years in the US Army. He was a foundry worker at DeZurik's in Sartell for 34 years. Joseph enjoyed hunting & fishing, gun-smithing, gardening, woodworking, socializing with friends and family and playing a good game of 500. The evenings he liked a big dish of ice cream while watching TV. He was a member of Pheasants Forever, the National Rifle Association, the Foley American Legion and St. John's Catholic Church.
He is survived by his mother, Lucille Frank, Foley; wife, Arlene, Oak Park; sons and daughters; Lisa (Mike) Schmid, Hibbing; Steve (Janette), Madison, MN; Allen (Donna), Foley; Jennifer (Dean) Schafer, Foley; Cindy (Scot) Tepley, St. Cloud; 16 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren, brothers and sisters; Dan (Karen), Milaca; Katherine (Dan) Kavanagh, Sun City, AZ; Charles (Joyce), Foley; Russel (Geralyn), St. Cloud; Jerry (Betty), Pine River; Harlen (Nancy), Sauk Rapids; Mike (Tammy), Foreston; Karen (Ray) Lund, St. Cloud; brother-in -law, Lonnie Stauffenecker, Foley.
