Jeanette Kirchoff, age 59 Foley, died unexpectedly Friday, March 14, 2014 at her home.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 AM Thursday, March 20, 2014 at St. John's Catholic Church, Foley. The Rev. Daniel Walz will officiate. Burial will be in the ST. JOHN'S CATHOLIC CEMETERY, not the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery as originally planned.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 Wednesday at the Foley Funeral Home in Foley one hour prior to the service the church on Thursday.  Arrangements were made  by the Foley Funeral Home.
Jan Kirchoff was born July 5, 1954 in Sauk Centre, MN to Benedict and Theresa (Waltzing) Heinen.  She married Robert Kirchoff Jr., on April 14, 1984 at Annunciation Catholic Church in Mayhew Lake.  She graduated from Tech High School in 1972 and went on to attend St. Cloud Vocational College.  Jan spent the majority of her working years with the Centre Care Health System, most recently at the St. Cloud Surgical Center.  Despite her health issues, she was constantly on the go and didn't let anything hold her back.  She loved spending time with her family, especially her three grandchildren.  Jan was always trying the latest recipe from America's Test Kitchen, trying out new gardening techniques, scrap booking or shopping with her sisters, and looked forward to the annual trips to Lake Vermillion.  Jan was active in her community.  She danced in the Way Off Broadway Review fund-raiser from 1990-1992 and volunteered for the local Girl Scouts for over 10 years.
She will be deeply missed by her husband,  Robert Jr., Foley; son; Todd (Jessica), Big Lake; and daughter; Shannon (Derek) Brambrink, Foley; grandchildren, Emilie Kirchoff, Dominic Brambrink and Dylan Brambrink,  mother, Theresa Heinen, St. Cloud, mother-in-law, Elsie Kirchoff, Foley and sisters and brother, Carol Krippner, St. Cloud; Elizabeth 'Betty' (Mike) Jaeger, St. Cloud; Viola (Thomas) Theisen, Waite Park and Joe of St. Cloud.
She was preceded in death by her father, Benedict, father-in-law, Robert Kirchoff Sr., and brothers, Richard and Kenneth.
