Jane Anderson, age 78, of Foley, died Monday April 11, 2016 at her home.  Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Saturday, April 16, 2016 at Gustavus Adolphus Lutheran Church in Foley. The Rev. Timothy Wittwer will officiate. Burial will be in the Ronneby Riverside Lutheran Cemetery.   Friends may call one hour prior to services at the church on Saturday.
Jane Lee (Mence) Anderson was born June 6, 1937 in St. Cloud, Minnesota the daughter of Clarence and Thelma (Secord) Mence.  Jane graduated from St. Cloud Tech High School.  She married Conrad  Anderson on November 8, 1958 at First Presbyterian Church in St. Cloud.  Jane worked as a nursing assistant at the Foley Nursing Center and as the secretary for Gustavus Adolphus Lutheran Church.  She served as the Glendorado Township Clerk for many years.  Jane enjoyed mowing the lawn, playing Bingo, Card Club and Birthday Club. She was a strong survivor of two occurrences of cancer.  Memorials are preferred to the American Cancer Society.
Jane is survived by her sons:  Kelly of Foley and Mike of Foley; daughter, Amy (Steve) Guzy of Paynesville; granddaughters:  Erin (Kole) VanderMey and Andrea Guzy; great-grandson, Leo VanderMey; brother, Jim Mence of Steven's Point, WI; as well as other relatives and friends. Jane was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Conrad.
