James Fleigle, age 83, of Oak Park, died Monday, December 23, 2013 at the St. Cloud VA Medical Center.
Memorial Mass will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 28, 2013 at St. Louis Catholic Church, Foreston. The Rev. James Remmerswaal will officiate. Burial will be in the Parish Cemetery.
Friends may call from one hour prior to the service at the church on Saturday.  Arrangements were made  by the Foley Funeral Home.
James Fleigle was born May 30, 1930 in Oak Park, Minnesota to Bert and Marie (Mohr) Fleigle.  He had lived and farmed near Oak Park most of his life. He graduated from Foley High School in 1949.  James was a Veteran of the US Army where he played on the Army football team from 1950-1952.  After the service he worked for Franklin Manufacturing and worked construction.  Jim farmed with his brothers and retired in 1984 and spent winters in Arizona.  He was a generous man and had given anonymously to many charities and fund raisers over the years. He was a member of St. Louis Catholic Church.
He is survived by his sister and brothers; Dolores Kozlowski, Rockville, MD; Dennis (Bonnie), Big Lake; Richard (Betty), Oak Park and sister-in-law, Elaine Fleigle of Minneapolis and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers and sisters, Robert, Paul, Donald, Margaret Nystrom, Mary Otto and nephews, Jim Kozlowski and Duane Fleigle.
