Helen Walcheski, age 82, of Foley, MN, died Friday March 4, 2011 at the Foley Nursing Home.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, March 7, 2011 at SS. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, Gilman, MN. The Rev. Dan Walz will officiate. Burial will be in the Parish Cemetery.

Friends may call after 9:00 a.m. Monday at the church in Gilman. Arrangements were made by the Foley Funeral Home, Foley, MN.

Helen Walcheski was born May 5, 1928 in Alberta Township, Benton County, MN to Frank and Louise (Adelman) Walcheski. She was a lifelong resident of Benton County. Helen worked and lived with the John Wolf family near Gilman for many years before entering the Foley Nursing Center in 2002. She was a very active resident of the Foley Nursing Home and participated in many activities including bingo, cards, bowling and playing dice. She was a member of SS. Peter & Paul Catholic Church.

She is survived by her brothers; Albert (Marge), Pierz, MN; Anthony, Foley, MN; Alex (Roseann), Foley, MN; John (Mary), Royalton, MN and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Steve Sr., sister Ann Kastenbauer and infant sister, Agnes; nephew, Stephen Jr and niece Cheryl Kastenbauer.
