Helen Rudnitski, age 96, of Foley, MN, died Monday, July 11, 2011 at the St. Cloud Hospital, St. Cloud, MN.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, July 14, 2011 at St. John's Catholic Church, Foley. The Rev. Dan Walz will officiate. Burial will be in the SS. Peter & Paul Catholic Cemetery, Gilman, MN.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 Wednesday at the Foley Funeral Home in Foley one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Thursday. Arrangements were made by the Foley Funeral Home, Foley, MN.

Helen Rudnitski was born March 22, 1915 in Silver Lake, MN to Martin J. and Mary (Mallak) Graczyk. Helen was born and raised in Silver Lake, MN. She married Joe Novak on June 8, 1937 at St. Albert Catholic Church, Silver Lake, MN and he preceded her in death on March 16, 1963. She then married Herman Rudnitski in 1965 and he preceded her in death on November 3, 1975. Helen lived all of her married life in the Foley area and worked at Fingerhut for several years. She enjoyed crocheting, playing cards and doing cross-word puzzles, dancing and playing bingo. She was a member of St. John's Catholic Church.

She is survived by her brother, Joe (Delores) Graczyk, Foley, MN; sister-in-law, Adeline Graczyk, Foley, MN, step-children, Daniel (Linda) Rudnitski, Baxter, MN; Arlene (Ralph) Zulawski, Foley, MN; Gary (Peggy) Rudnitski, Minneapolis, MN, step-grandchildren, Peggy Zulawski, Becky Duncan, Cynthia Heirigs, Jeffery Zulawski, Amy Rudnitski and Daniel Rudnitski and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Benedict 'Ben'.
