Harold G. Babineau age 95 of Foley, died October 11, 2017 at the Foley Nursing Center.  Memorial Services will be at 12:00 PM Sunday, October 15, 2017 at the Foley Funeral Home.  Visitation will be from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the funeral home.  Military Honors will be provided by the Foley American Legion, Post 298.  Burial will be at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Service with Dignity provided by the Foley Funeral Home.

Harold Gordon Babineau was born March 9, 1922 In Minneapolis, Minnesota to Louis and Bessie (Carlson) Babineau.  He was  WWII Army-Air Force Veteran where he was an airplane mechanic.  After the war, Harold worked for Winn-Steven Buick in Minneapolis as a auto mechanic. He was an Honorary retired member of the Local #974.  He married Marion Norberg and she preceded him in death.  He married Orvella Gehrke-Malikowski on October 8, 1994 at Rejoice Lutheran Church in Clearwater.  The couple lived in Minneapolis and later moved to Foley.  Harold enjoyed working on all motors, was always willing to help others, and was a great story teller.

He was preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Marion; second wife, Orvella; and his siblings.
