Grace R. Stauffeneker, age 94, of Princeton, died Tuesday October 26, 2010 at the Elim Nursing Home, Princeton.

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, October 30, 2010 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Foley, MN. The Rev. Tim Rewaldt will officiate. Burial will be in the Our Savior's Lutheran Cemetery, Santiago, MN.

Friends may call from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the church. Arrangements were made by the Foley Funeral Home, Foley, MN.

Grace Stauffeneker was born August 31, 1916 in Santiago, Minnesota to Nels and Myrtle (Ross) Nelson. She married Edward Stauffeneker November 9, 1935 at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Princeton. She was a life long resident of the Foley area and graduated from Princeton High School in 1935. She had worked at the Elim Nursing Home in Princeton and the Foley Nursing Center in Foley before retiring in 1986 as a kitchen supervisor. She loved flowers and spending time with her grandchildren. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Foley.

She is survived by her sons and daughters, Christian (Marge), McGregor, MN; Marjorie (Nels) Gilbertson, Princeton, MN; Gerald, Zimmerman, MN; James (Leona), Andover, MN; Grace (Raymond) Jaeckels, Northfield, MN; Norma Meleen, Elk River, MN; David (Judy Johnson) Hector, MN; and Karen Stauffeneker, Brooklyn Center, MN; 25 grandchildren; 36 great grandchildren and 7 great-great grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Delores Holler, Portland, OR; Marie Hickman, Becker, MN; Ross Nelson, Mound, MN; Loretta Jenson, Sartell, MN; Helen Larson, St. Cloud, MN; and Valborg Moline, Long Lake, MN.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward, daughters, Marge Gilbertson and Carol and an infant son, brothers and sisters, Marine, Tressman, Norine, Joseph, Gladys, Gerhard, Sherman, Howard and Nordahl; and grandson, Keith Gilbertson.
