Frances Dahler, age 87, of Foley, died Sunday, July 28, 2013 at her home.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, August 1, 2013 at St. Elizabeth's Catholic Church, Brennyville. The Rev. Daniel Walz will officiate. Burial will be in the Parish Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 Wednesday at the Foley Funeral Home in Foley and one hour prior to the service at the church.  Parish Prayers will be 6:30  Wednesday evening at the funeral home. Arrangements were made  by the Foley Funeral Home.
Frances Dahler was born January 17, 1926 in Gilmanton Township, Benton Co. to John and Barbara (Kussman) Broda.  She married Jerome Dahler on June 20, 1944 at SS. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, Gilman.  The couple lived and farmed in Granite Ledge Township for many years.  In her early years, Frances worked at Oscar Meyer in Chicago.  They moved to Sauk Rapids in 1979 and Foley in 1996.  Frances enjoyed canning and gardening.   She was a member of the St. Elizabeth's Christian Mother's and St. Elizabeth's Catholic Church.  In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Poor Clares Monastery.
She is survived by her sons and daughters; Judy Gadacz; West St. Paul; Patsy Kuffel; Waite Park; Kathleen (Dan) Luberda, Foley; Darlene (Curtis) Gadacz, Two Harbors; Tim (Janet), Plymouth; Debra (Roger) Grittner, Buckman; Randy (Nancy), Oak Park; brother, Florian Broda, St. Cloud, 16 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Jerome, January 4, 2004, infant sons, Marvin and Joseph, 1 grandchild and 1 great grandchild, sisters and brothers, Florence Schlicht, Delores Beutz, Gloria Prom, John, Lawrence, Norbert and LeRoy and sons-in-law, Delroy Gadacz and John Kuffel.
