Eugene Moulzolf, age 82, of Foley, MN, died peacefully on Sunday, June 10, 2012 at the St. Cloud Hospital, St. Cloud, MN.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, June 15, 2012 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Morrill, MN. The Rev. Leo Moenkedick and Rev. Gregory Mastey will officiate. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.

Friends may call from 4 to 9 Thursday at the Foley Funeral Home in Foley and one hour prior to the service at the church. Parish prayers will be at 6 p.m. Thursday at the Foley Funeral Home. Arrangements were made by the Foley Funeral Home, Foley, MN.

Eugene Moulzolf was born January 9, 1930 in Alberta Township, Benton Co., MN to Stanley and Philamino 'Minnie' (Lesnau) Moulzolf. He married Marjorie Stellmach on August 6, 1951 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Morrill. The couple lived in Nebraska from 1952-1957 where Eugene worked at Rasmusson Beef Farms near Herman NB. He also raced stock cars at the Arlington Raceway in Nebraska. In 1957 they moved back to Alberta Township, Benton Co., and Gene worked for the Foley Farm Supply, Benton Co-op, Wiltgen Trucking and farmed and drove cattle truck. Gene enjoyed hunting, spending time with his grandchildren and singing Polish songs. He was known for his good humor and was especially known for raising his Percheron horses, known as, 'Pine Road Percherons'. He was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church.

He is survived by his wife, Marjorie, Foley, MN; daughters; Gwendolyn (John) Pekarek, Foley, MN; Jacalyn (Joe) Kornovich, Oak Park, MN; Carolyn (Delroy) Dahler, Foley, MN; Marilyn (Jon) Heinen, Foley, MN; sisters, Corrine Kornovich, Foley, MN and Erma Bruner, Sauk Rapids, MN, 16 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sons, Gaylyn, Leelyn, Raulyn, 1 great grandson, Cole Majerus and sisters and brothers; Delores Lachinski, Claire Ellenwood, Millie Ferguson, Ervin, Melvin, Norvil and Myron Moulzolf.
