Eugene "Gene" Gapinski, age 82 of Oak Park, died March 1, 2022 at the St. Cloud Hospital. Mass of Christian burial will take place at 10:30 AM, Wednesday, March 9, 2022 at STS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Gilman, MN.  Rev. Matthew Langager will officiate.  Visitation will be from 4- 8 PM, Tuesday, March 8, 2022 at the Foley Funeral Home and 1 hour prior at church on Wednesday, March 9, 2022.  Parish prayers will take place Tuesday at 5:00 PM and the rosary will take place at 7:00 PM led by the Knights of Columbus - 9261 Immaculate Mary Council. Burial will take place in the parish cemetery.  Service with dignity provided by the Foley Funeral Home.

He is survived by his children, Matthew Gapinski, Linda (Steve) Bartell, Laura (Sam) Laudenbach, Andy Gapinski, Becky Gapinski, Justin Gapinski; 8 grandchildren; brothers, David, Dennis, Tom, and many nieces, nephews and other relatives.

He is preceded in death by his first wife Judy and second wife Linda; parents Frank and Bernice; brothers Sylvester and Richard.
