Dorothy F. Dubbin, age 81, of Sartell, MN and formerly of Foley, MN, died Sunday February 27, 2011 at the Country Manor Campus, Sartell, MN.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 5, 2011 at SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Gilman, MN. The Rev. Dan Walz will officiate. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.

Friends may call from 9 to 11 a.m. on Saturday at church in Gilman. Arrangements were made by the Foley Funeral Home, Foley, Minnesota.

Dorothy Dubbin was born April 2, 1929 in Alberta Township, Benton County, Minnesota to John and Emily (Skajewski) Novak. She married Edward Dubbin on May 6, 1947 at SS Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Gilman. She lived most of her life in the Gilman area. She worked at the Blue Oak Restaurant, Mr. Jim's and Sis Henry Catering in Foley for many years. She was a member of the VFW Auxiliary Post 1558; the Foley American Legion Auxiliary Post 298 where she was a past president; SS. Peter & Paul Catholic Church; and the Gilman Christian Mothers.

She is survived by her sons, Richard (Marty), Rice, MN; Larry (Mitzi), Hillman, MN; grandchildren, Allen (Linda), Holdingford, MN; Curt (Monica), Toronto, Canada; great-grandchildren, Abbie, Jamie, Zachery, Hunter, Cole & Makenzie, Alyssa, William and Sarah; brothers, DelRoy (Mary Lou) Novak, Crystal, MN; Florian (Glynis) Novak, Fridley, MN and brother-in-law, Robert Beck, Mpls., MN.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Ed, April 25, 2002; infant sister, Mary; sisters, Adeline Taylor and Henrietta Beck; brothers, Carl, Donald and Sylvester Novak and grandson, Corey, August 28, 1979.
