Dolores Paggen, 88, of Sartell and formerly Foley, died Sunday, December 3rd, 2017at the St. Cloud Hospital.  Mass of Christian Burial for Dolores will be at 10:30 AM, Thursday, December 7, 2017 at St. John's Catholic Church in Foley.  Rev. Michael Wolfbauer will officiate.  Friends may call from 4-8 PM Wednesday evening at the Foley Funeral Home with Parish Prayers at 6 PM.  Visitation will continue one hour prior to the services Thursday at church.  Burial will be in St. John's Catholic Cemetery.

Dolores Mary (Yankowiak) Paggen was born January 5, 1929 in Farmington, Minnesota the daughter of John and Mary (Godzala) Yankowiak.  On June 22, 1957, she was united in marriage with Jerome Paggen at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Mora.  The couple lived and hobby farmed near Popple Creek for many years.  Dolores graduated from St. Cloud School of Nursing and worked as an RN for St. Cloud Hospital, Foley Nursing Home, and the Walter Reed Hospital in Washington, D.C.  She enjoyed gardening, sewing, and canning.  Dolores was a member of St. John's Catholic Church, active in the Country Manor Community, a wonderful mother and grandmother.  Memorials are preferred to St. John's Area School.

Dolores is survived by her children:  Kathy (Pete) Sherrard of Backus, Jack (Joan) of Gilman, Patty (James) Menk of White Bear Township, Mary (Craig) Weideman of Rindge, NH, and Joe (Becky) of Foley; grandchildren:  Tom, Jon, Jay, Melanie, Allan, Shannon, Sarina, Makayla, and Kiley; great-grandchildren:  Hank and Joniven; as well as other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jerome; and brother, Roland Yankowiak.
