Dean L. Crowe, age 76, of Foley, MN, died Tuesday, August 30, 2011 at the Foley Nursing Center.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, September 2, 2011 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Morrill, MN. The Rev. Leo Moenkedick will officiate. Burial will be in the parish cemetery with Military Honors provided by the Foley American Legion, Post 298.

Friends may call from 4 to 9 Thursday at the Foley Funeral Home in Foley and one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday. Parish prayers will be at 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Arrangements were made by the Foley Funeral Home, Foley, MN.

Dean Crowe was born July 20, 1935 in Morrill Township, Morrison Co., MN to Orlo and Rosalie (Schmolke) Crowe. He married Shirley Hamers on July 6, 1965 at St. Elizabeth's Catholic Church, Brennyville, MN. He lived all his life in the Ramey, MN area. Dean owned and operated Crowes Garage in Ramey for nearly 40 years. He enjoyed fishing, car racing and snowmobiling. He was a member of the Pierz Knight's of Columbus and St. Joseph's Catholic Church.

He is survived by his wife, Shirley, Foley, MN; sons and daughter; Daniel, Sauk Rapids, MN, Glen, Foley, MN, Cindy (Bruce) Zwicki, Foley, MN, 3 grandchildren, Nicholas, Rebecca and Loretta; brothers, Clyde, Foley, MN, Leonard, Glenwood and Rodney, Royalton, MN.

He was preceded in death by his parents an infant brother and brothers Donald and Arthur.
