Daniel Stauffenecker, age 51, of Foley, died suddenly of natural causes Thursday, February 6, 2014 at his home.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 11, 2014 at Maywood Covenant Church, Foley.  The Rev. Al Monson will officiate. Burial will be in the St. Francis Cemetery, rural Foley.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 Monday at the Foley Funeral Home and one hour prior to the service at the church.  Arrangements were made  by the Foley Funeral Home.
Daniel Stauffenecker was born November 4, 1962 in St. Cloud, MN to Walter and Phyllis (Nickle) Stauffenecker.  He graduated from Foley High School in 1981 had lived and worked all his life in the Foley area. He worked construction for many years and farmed in Glendorado Township.  Dan enjoyed hunting and fishing and was always willing to help a friend in need.  The family requests memorials in lieu of flowers.
He is survived by his mother; Phyllis, Foley; sisters and brother, Gerry (Rick) Kruger, Foley; Roger (Mary Ann), Sauk Rapids; Deborah (Richard) Wiley, Foley; Linda (Gary) Ziebarth, Clear Lake and Elaine (Michael) Klinker, Becker and many nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by  his father, Walter, 2003 and brother Bryan, 1995.
