Clifford Freberg of Clear Lake, MN was born November 4th, 1921 in St. Paul, MN to Clarence and Alma (Casperson). He married Edna Mary Lubins on August 3rd, 1941 in Iowa. Cliff served as a Sergeant in the Army during World War II and was honorably discharged on October 31st, 1945. Cliff and Edna raised two daughters, Marjorie and Bonnie, in Bloomington, MN. Cliff worked for the Veteran's Administration in Minneapolis, MN and remained actively connected with the VA after retirement by visiting and spending time with soldiers and their families. After retirement, Cliff and Edna moved to Clear Lake, MN residing in a house on Rush Lake. They spent winters in Eustis, Florida near their daughter Bonnie and summers in MN near Marjorie.
Cliff is preceded in death by his wife Edna, daughter Marjorie Erickson, son in law Lloyd Sanner, parents, 3 brothers, and 1 sister. He is survived by his daughter Bonita Sanner, Umatilla, FL, son in law Don Erickson, Clear Lake, MN, brother, Charles Freberg, St. Paul, MN, many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Committal services will be held Friday, August 7, 2015 at 9:35 AM (assembly area 6) at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
