Clara Urbanski, age 91, of Rice, died Sunday, February 23, 2014 at her home.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, February 27, 2014 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Morrill. The Rev. Leo Moenkedick will officiate. Burial will be in the Parish Cemetery.
Friends may call from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service at the church on Thursday.  Arrangements were made  by the Foley Funeral Home.
Clara Urbanski was born April 22, 1922 in Buckman Township, Morrison Co., to Clement and Margaret (Stump) Scheper.  She married Leo Urbanski on December 12, 1942 in Oakland, California.  She lived all of her life in Morrison and Benton County where she famed.  She enjoyed cooking & baking and sewing and gardening.  She was a wonderful mother and grandmother  She was a member of  St. Joseph's Catholic Church and the St. Joseph Christian Mothers and St. Theresa Sewing Group.
She is survived by her son and daughter; Conrad, Rice and Glorine (Roger) Pekarek, Minneapolis, grandsons, Tim Pekarek, Robert (Regina) Pekarek and great-grandchildren, Rachel, Joshua and Jordan Pekarek and sisters, Leona Rakotz, Big Lake and Delphine Dick of Minneapolis.  She was preceded in  death by her husband, Leo in 1997.
